Blancpain Endurance Series 2015 will start this weekend at Monza

Glorax Racing will be on the circuit with drivers Birzhin, Mancini and Mastronardi, the aim is the Am Cup win.

Monza (ITA). After a long testing winter now it’s time of pure competition for Glorax Racing. The Swiss team will be on the track next weekend at Monza for the Blancpain Endurance Series first seasonal round, the top duration races championship for GT cars organized by SRO. On the Ferrari 458 GT3’s seat will be Andrey Birzhin, Fabio Mancini and Rino Mastronardi: the main aim is the Am Cup win, the class reserved for gentlemen drivers, but the excellent results in recent tests at Monza suggest some other thoughts…

The weekend program will begin with the free practices scheduled Saturday at 9.00 and at 12.05, then it continues with the pre qualifying at 16.10; the qualifying will be Sunday at 9.00 and the 3 hours main race will start at 14.30.

Blancpain Endurance Series will be covered worldwide by TV with a fast moving mix of live broadcasts and reports: at Monza Eurosport and Raisport will provide lives and highlights, while the Blancpain GT Series official website will give live streaming full coverage.

Andrey Birzhin:

“It’s the first season in the Blancpain Endurance Series for Glorax and for me, the thrill is really strong. The Championship is the highest level, but I have positive feelings: the winter tests gave the team the right togetherness, while I have refined the 458’s driving.”
